We have sealed the day with Kitgum district. We have been greeted by thousands of our enthusiastic supporters who were deeply geared up for our protest vote message. The people of Acholi have cried for so long under this repressive regime. The LRA insurgency left many families devastated and their wounds are still fresh. The regime did not fully compensate them for the property they lost during this particular war. The NUP government intends to reconcile our people and compensate them deservingly to ensure that all the affected families get justice. The NEW UGANDA shall be convenient for all. #ANewUgandaNow #ProtestVoteUg2026 #PeoplePowerOurPower
Kitgum is fired up! #ANewUgandaNow #PeoplePowerOurPower https://t.co/LfWw6Ed6Qu
In Lamwo district for our first rally where we have charged the people of Acholi to be vocal and demand for social services that fit in the taxes they pay. We have urged them not to be brainwashed by the breadcrumbs offered by the criminal regime and its agents during this electoral season. We have told them that their voice will only be heard once they vote for the umbrella across all electoral positions. #ANewUgandaNow
As we left Karenga where we caught the night after driving through impassable muddy roads. Dozens of people flooded our lounge to express their support and love. Thank you Karamoja. We are now heading to Lamwo and Kitgum to take our gospel of change to Acholi. #ANewUgandaNow #ProtestVoteUg2026 #PeoplePowerOurPower
We have concluded our scheduled campaigns in Kaabong and Karenga districts today. It is concerning that this gold rich region has not been rewarded in terms of infrastructural development. Throughout our drive, we did not see any tarmacked roads that connect these districts to the rest of the country. Sadly, this is a region that the criminal regime claims to hold significant support within and yet the people have been abandoned and neglected. We all saw what the regime government officials did with the Karamoja iron sheets that were meant for the Karachunas. They were shamelessly shared by the regime officials and none was ever convicted by the anti corruption court. We have reminded the people of this great Karamoja sub region that they must assert themselves in the forthcoming protest vote and reject this exploitative regime. The protest vote is the sole opportunity we have to put things right. #ProtestVoteUg2026 #ANewUgandaNow #PeoplePowerOurPower
Today we have entered Karamoja sub region and campaigned in Abim and Kotido districts. The masses are charged and demanding for change. They want their natural mineral resources to be translated into infrastructural development. We have assured them that this is part of the master plan that we have in our NEW UGANDA manifesto. We will ensure that the people of Karamoja sub region reap big from their gold mines. Their youth will get decent education and employment opportunities to empower them to boost their livelihoods and regional economic prosperity. #ANewUgandaNow #PeoplePowerOurPower
Before hitting the road to Kotido and Abim districts, I have briefed the media about the tragic events that ensued last night at my Lira Hotel residence. The invasion was a barbaric act and replicates the usual script of sowing seeds of fear within us. This has been the criminal regime pattern at every election cycle. They intend to isolate me and take away my security team. We have been informed that comrade Tower is one of their targets even before we left Kampala. Seven of the fifteen comrades arrested last night have been released as of this morning. I spoke to the Commissioner of Police Afande Nkore to account for the invasion. He informed me that they raided us because they were looking for their gadgets. They allege that our comrade Tower stole a laptop and a network jammer from them. We are yet to establish if this is true but as far as we know, we are law abiding citizens. I raised concerns of comrade Dan Magic whose statement was not recorded at every police station he has been to. This is absolute impunity. #FreeUgandaNow
We have concluded Alebtong and Otuke districts after a full day of driving through impassable submerged rural roads. It is a shame that the regime which has been at the helm of the country for four decades has failed to deliver on its obligations. This is what we have come to rectify and offer the country a government that shall prioritize the needs of the people. #ProtestVoteUg2026 #PeoplePowerOurPower #ANewUgandaNow
Successfully completed our second campaign rally at Akii-Bua stadium in Lira city. Our message largely emphasized national unity and togetherness as a generation striving to change this nation. We are thankful to the people of Lango sub region for overwhelmingly appreciating our efforts to redeem Uganda from dictatorship. This is a bold statement made today. We are on the right path to liberation! #ANewUgandaNow #ProtestVoteUg2026 #PeoplePowerOurPower
Lira, wan tye kwedi kom tin. Lira city We are with you today. Get ready for the revolutionary message! #ANewUgandaNow #ProtestVoteUg2026 #PeoplePowerOurPower https://t.co/WoqZJmsgG5
Concluded our second rally in Kole district a few moments back. We have reminded the people of Lango sub region that liberating Uganda will take collective responsibility. The journey to the NEW UGANDA shall be realized when we all take part in this cause of the protest vote. Apwoyo KOLE! #ProtestVoteUg2026 #PeoplePowerOurPower
Apwoyo matek Kwania. Thank you so much! #ProtestVoteUg2026 #PeoplePowerOurPower https://t.co/qeDwZtVRrj
Our first day’s campaign rally has kicked off in Kwania district. We are preaching the protest vote to the people of Lango sub region. #ProtestVoteUg2026 #PeoplePowerOurPower https://t.co/zw9q9Hx71A
FACES OF IMPUNITY! Here is comrade Lumbuye Awali, the @NUP_Ug flag bearer for MP, Budiope East Constituency, currently occupied by Moses Magogo, Anita Among's husband. He went for his nomination on the first day and was told by the Returning Officer that all slots were taken. He was told to come back the following day. He was there by 10:00am, but they blocked him from entering the nomination venue. When Magogo and Among left the nomination venue, the military and police deployed heavily and blocked Awali from entering the place, despite his every effort. THIS IMPUNITY CAN ONLY COME TO AN END THROUGH A PEOPLE'S REVOLUTION! #FreeUgandaNow
This is how we have been received by Lango sub region in Apac district at our second and final rally today. We have rallied them to appreciate our protest vote which seeks to revive the Uganda that will work for all. APWOYO APAC! This is massive and deeply appreciated. #ProtestVoteUg2026 #PeoplePowerOurPower
On our way to APAC, we passed by our brother Jimmy Akena’s country home in Akokoro and payed respect to the former President of Uganda, Dr Apollo Milton Obote. May the spirit of brotherhood continue to be the guiding star in our generation. https://t.co/yKCUGpcc4V
Thank you BWEYALE. Together, we are going to create the Uganda we deserve. #ProtestVoteUg2026 #PeoplePowerOurPower https://t.co/RSq3WBmPIE
Thank you Masindi for the massive reception. We are overwhelmed with gratitude. You have proved that the Kabalega spirit of resilience still reigns. Despite the delays and demobilization, you have defied all odds and joined us to exhibit your unwavering support for our revolutionary cause. We don’t take that lightly. #ProtestVoteUg2026 #PeoplePowerOurPower
