This happened today in Nakawa during our campaigns! These criminal-minded police officers are seen kicking and stamping this man's head. The brutality continues unabated. These are crimes against humanity which the world must not ignore! #FreeUgandaNow https://t.co/j0Qk5KbGBO
The usual brutality prominently featured today as we made it to our second rally venue in Nakawa West. Several of our supporters were beaten, the regime police used projectiles of tear gas to disperse our enthusiastic supporters but all this has not worked out. The regime believes that by applying full scale violence on us, the people will break down and fear to associate with us but this barbaric method has been ineffective. Thank you Nakawa West for braving all the challenges and showing up massively. Together, we shall trek the journey to the New Uganda! #ANewUgandaNow #ProtestVote2026 #PeoplePowerOurPower
National flags flying at our second venue in Ntinda, Nakawa West. The revolution is unstoppable! #ANewUgandaNow #ProtestVote2026 #PeoplePowerOurPower https://t.co/gip7DTSF0o
We have held our first campaign rally in Mbuya, Nakawa East where we have been welcomed by swarms of supporters that filled our venue. Just as we anticipated, the regime police again tried to block us from accessing the venue in our planned time, and went on to fire tear gas at our peaceful people who were waiting to wave at us. Our message of freedom has sank into the minds of our people of Nakawa East. We have rallied them to vote for the umbrella symbol across all electoral levels in order to be part of our protest vote cause. #ANewUgandaNow #ProtestVote2026 #PeoplePowerOurPower
Before proceeding to Nakawa for our scheduled campaign, we have addressed the press on a range of issues especially the electoral violence that we have undergone in recent days. We have called out the EC for issuing an inconclusive statement on the most recent tragedy that befell us in Gulu city where soldiers wielding sticks meted out terror against us with an aim of blocking us from accessing our campaign venue. We know all this violence intends to break our resolve and shatter our hearts but we are not relenting at any point because we are campaigning within the law and what we are doing is constitutional. #ANewUgandaNow #ProtestVote2026 #PeoplePowerOurPower
