Wishing my endeared Islanders of Kalangala District a Merry Christmas! #ANewUgandaNow https://t.co/kk8QEA22S1
Still about Kalangala where we have campaigned today. The zeal for change is written all over. This is more than a revolution. Thank you our Island people of Kalangala for your support and passion to see Uganda better than it is today. #ANewUgandaNow #ProtestVote2026 #PeoplePowerOurPower
Our first rally in Kalangala District has been successfully concluded at Ndekano P/S playground, Kyamuswa Parish. The enthusiasm written on our people’s faces is inexpressible. #ANewUgandaNow #ProtestVote2026 #PeoplePowerOurPower https://t.co/kwu8bvTLMa
Our first campaign engagements have been concluded at Bukasa, Kyamuswa Island in Kalangala District. The passion, enthusiasm and unwavering dedication from the people is inspiring. The last time we came to Kalangala on December 30th, 2020 for our campaign, we were rounded up by security forces and my entire campaign team was arrested, persecuted in the military court and detained for months in prison. The regime did not want us to carry our message to the masses. Today, on Christmas eve, we find ourselves back to Kalangala district, addressing the fishing community and rallying residents to be part of the liberation cause. We are on our course to a New Uganda where all citizens have an equal role to play. Thank you Kyamuswa, thank you Kalangala for the turn up! #ANewUgandaNow #ProtestVote2026 #PeoplePowerOurPower
We're away, campaigning in Kalangala, but my wife Barbie Kyagulanyi continued our tradition of sharing a meal with the families of our detained, disappeared, dead and injured comrades on special days. Ahead of Christmas, she hosted them at our home in Magere and shared with them some food items and some upkeep for the season. I am grateful to her and our welfare team for bringing a smile on, especially the faces of the children of these victims. When Uganda becomes free, we shall put an end to this culture of families being separated or torn apart by the actions of a repressive regime.
Arriving in Kalangala district to preach our message of the revolution! #ANewUgandaNow #ProtestVote2026 #PeoplePowerOurPower https://t.co/efGViyi7T2
Whatever Byabakama is looking for, he will definitely get! Museveni is out there trying to buy out as many @NUP_Ug candidates as possible, and those who refuse are being illegally denominated by Byabakama. He has now denominated our Isingiro Woman MP candidate, Kyarimpa Resty. Reason? He claims that one individual supported Resty's nomination twice, and yet the Electoral Commission uses a computerised system that can not allow one person to support the nomination of one candidate twice. The system can not even allow one individual to support the nomination of two candidates. Resty was initially approached, offered hundreds of millions of shillings to drop out of the race, and she refused. These are clear, clear violations that have continued to happen under the watch of a weakened, compromised judiciary. UGANDA NEEDS A RESET. #ProtestVote2026
This was yesterday as we campaigned in Entebbe. These criminals did not know that CCTV cameras were recording the savage brutality. A citizen brutalised in this manner for simply holding a national flag and supporting a political party of their choice. Museveni and his criminal regime are in their evening.....all this is a sign of fear. UGANDA WILL BE FREE. #ProtestVote2026
