We have wrapped up our day’s campaign engagements at Katoosa Primary School playground in Kyenjojo district. The turn up was impressively massive. The people of Tooro just like elsewhere are craving for change. They want to see a new government that will economically empower them to earn from their agricultural products. We assured them that the NUP will boost the agricultural economy and put in place conducive policies that will benefit the local farmers. Thank you Kyenjojo. Let’s usher in a people centered government by voting for the umbrella symbol on the ballot paper come January 15 2026! #ANewUgandaNow #ProtestVote2026 #PeoplePowerOurPower

Saddened by the passing of Dr. Joe Beasley, a towering U.S. human rights activist who dedicated his life to the struggles for freedom and justice across the world. Grateful that he used his powerful voice to amplify our struggle for freedom and democracy in Uganda. May his soul rest in peace.

Prior to our journey to Kyenjojo and Kyegegwa districts, we have addressed the press about the consistent regime police provocations that we continue to face on each campaign day. We specifically spoke about yesterday’s events in Fort Portal where we were barred from campaigning after the regime police held us in one position of the road for several hours till the campaign time expired. We are also privy to information that the regime security elements send us to isolated rural routes in order to afflict harm on us without attracting any public attention. We continue to appeal to our people to remain non violent and hold their national flags firmly. Let us remain committed, courageous and patriotic as we aspire to redeem ourselves from the prevailing military dictatorship. #ANewUgandaNow #ProtestVote2026 #PeoplePowerOurPower

A short while back, the regime police deployed their heavily armed manpower to come to my hotel residence in Fort Portal City and disperse our peaceful supporters who had gathered just to wave at us. One wonders why all this manpower is invested in just one presidential candidate while Ugandans who badly need this security are ignored and rendered vulnerable to insecurity. The madness of the regime is just sickening! #FreeUgandaNow
