BOBI WINE

Today was a very special day as we held prayers for Dr. Kizza Besigye and all the other political prisoners at Dr. Besigye's home in Kasangati. We were joined by the families of political prisoners from across the different fronts. We are very grateful to Hon. Winnie Byanyima for accepting to host us, and for her very warm reception and words of encouragement amidst the repression and grave violations of rights. We are very grateful to Rev. Father Kabogoza and Rev. Bob Musamali for leading us in prayer and for giving us very powerful words of encouragement. Above all, we are grateful to Dr. Kizza Besigye for sending us a message of encouragement and hope. Despite being in prison, he sent us a generous financial contribution towards the last lap of our campaigns. For this, we're very grateful. In my communication, I appreciated the families of the political prisoners for being very resilient and for doing everything possible to keep pressuring the regime to free their people. In Unity, we shall overcome every obstacle on our path to freedom. #FreeUgandaNow
