Meanwhile, yesterday, after casting my ballot, the military deployed all around my home in order to place me under house arrest. These criminals even jumped over the fence and entered our compound. My house is still besieged - no one allowed to come in or go out. This ain't strength. They do this out of fear for the people they have offended by committing so many atrocities against them. Hey @elonmusk, as you cheer the fall of a dictator in Venezuela, here in Uganda your @Starlink has disabled citizens' access to its internet just days to the January 15th election in which we seek to peacefully end Museveni’s 40-year-old dictatorship! Like other dictators, Museveni has suffocated free expression, engaged in mass killings, brutally persecuted the opposition, and suppressed citizens' rights - among other atrocities. Please reactivate Starlink internet access in Uganda so that citizens can be able to communicate and stand a fair chance at shaping their destiny. Democracy dies in darkness!

Very sad to hear that Dr. Kizza Besigye's health has continued to deteriorate while in detention, having been denied access to proper medical care.
