Our message of freedom in Kween and Kapchorwa Districts was centered around talent promotion for the people of Sebei who are known for their hard work and success in athletics, the tourist sites and mineral wealth in Sebei which the @NUP_Ug government will ensure that it all benefits the people of this region. While we were trying to utilize our campaign schedule as intended, the regime police used all their might to disrupt our campaign in Kween District with teargas and thereafter blocked us from proceeding to Bukwo District. Hey @elonmusk, as you cheer the fall of a dictator in Venezuela, here in Uganda your @Starlink has disabled citizens' access to its internet just days to the January 15th election in which we seek to peacefully end Museveni’s 40-year-old dictatorship! Like other dictators, Museveni has suffocated free expression, engaged in mass killings, brutally persecuted the opposition, and suppressed citizens' rights - among other atrocities. Please reactivate Starlink internet access in Uganda so that citizens can be able to communicate and stand a fair chance at shaping their destiny. Democracy dies in darkness!

Very sad to hear that Dr. Kizza Besigye's health has continued to deteriorate while in detention, having been denied access to proper medical care.
