BOBI WINE

@HEBobiwine Verified Record

Today marks exactly 4 years since the abduction and disappearance of comrade Kibalama John Bosco. His case is a reminder of the price that so many brave Ugandans pay for standing up for what they believe in, for daring to challenge the dictator and fight for justice and freedom. Kibalama left behind a very young family. These innocent children were robbed of their loving father, mentor, and breadwinner. You can imagine the anguish and confusion they continue to experience, waking up each day without the comforting presence of their father. Their hearts must be burdened with the weight of loss, fear, and uncertainty. Yet it doesn't end there. The sudden loss of financial stability thrust the family into a state of vulnerability and struggle. Basic needs became elusive, education costs became burdensome, and the future remains uncertain. We are doing our best to help them cope with the situation. In times like these, we must remember, as a nation, that it is our duty to ensure that the rights and well-being of every Ugandan, regardless of their political beliefs, are protected. We must work tirelessly to bring about a society where such tragedies remain things of the past. #FreeAllPoliticalPrisoners #BringBackOurPeople

Today is a happy day in our home. Warm congratulations to one of our special employees, friend and family member-Higenyi Sherif. A security guard by night, gardener by day, and student by weekend. He graduates today from Kampala International University. Thank you for making us proud and for being an inspiration to many other Ugandans who seek self development amidst challenging circumstances. May Allah reward your hard work and discipline and may he answer all your prayers. Congratulations again.

Not even a week after the MURDER of minister Engola, blogger Isma Olaxes is MURDERED in cold blood. This follows so many other unresolved MURDERS! What is clear to all of us, regardless of your political affiliation, is that in a sinking boat, there are no winners. Whenever we complain about armed REGIME operatives dressed in civilian clothes causing mayhem, abducting or even killing our people, the same REGIME apologists say we're politicizing things. I will say it again, EVERYONE IS A POTENTIAL VICTIM OF THE LAWLESSNESS OF THE MUSEVENI REGIME! RIP Jajja Ichuli. Let the dead teach the living!

Today, Hon. Ssegirinya Muhammad visited me at home in Magere. I welcomed him from the long period of illegal detention. I also got a call from Hon. Allan Sewanyana. Both comrades assured me that their commitment to our struggle for freedom and democracy still stands firm. https://t.co/qwiHlMFcYI

Last night, my family and I had the honour and pleasure of attending the premier of our documentary, 'BOBI WINE: THE PEOPLE'S PRESIDENT' in Los Angeles alongside a packed audience of freedom-lovers from around the world. The documentary captures the brutality that unfolded around us the moment we began challenging dictator Museveni’s regime. This weekend, we are proceeding to theatres in New York City for the grand premier. Photo credit: @natgeodocs
