Guess what just happened! Byabakama's fraudulent, incompetent, and partisan Electoral Commission today declared the NRM Woman MP candidate for Rwampara District unopposed! @NUP_Ug nominated a candidate for the same position. Our candidate was imprisoned and forced to denounce us in order to regain her freedom. (Those who stood their ground and refused to denounce us are still in jail.) But by law, she remained a validly nominated candidate. The law is clear - a candidate sponsored by a political party can only be withdrawn with the Party's express consent. The Party wrote to Byabakama weeks back indicating that we are not consenting to the withdrawal of any candidate. However, in a case of very shameless partisanship, they went ahead and declared this regime person unopposed! These criminals continue to give the people of Uganda every reason to STAND UP AND RECLAIM THIS COUNTRY. #FreeUgandaNow

Here is the reason Byabakama is still refusing to give us the National Voters' Register, 8 days to the election, despite the legal command for them to avail it 14 days to an election! He knows the amount of deliberate fraud in there. Tens of thousands of multiple entries, inconsistencies in voters' details, very many people who died years back, and yet their details are still on the register, etc. When we exposed some of this fraud, the regime responded by arresting Dr. Sarah Bireete and the developers of the Fannon App - which tool enabled citizens to discover these irregularities easily. Even then, the voter location slips are exposing the criminal schemes on a daily basis. There has never been an Electoral Commission as incompetent, partisan, and fraudulent as Byabakama's.
