In the face of grave danger and intimidation, it is the love and solidarity of our people that keep us going! On our return to Kampala we were overwhelmed by the people who braved teargas to wave at us and give us words of encouragement! WE SHALL OVERCOME! #PeoplePowerOurPower https://t.co/iO9LUncv3m

The journey from Kampala to Kamuli was thorny but the people of Busoga braved the intimidation. They won't spend our money on hospitals and schools but on stocking teargas, bullets and other tools of repression. PALLISA HERE COME! #NUPCountryWideTour2 https://t.co/4vDJhfELxd

We were in Lwengo District yesterday for the burial of my longtime friend Paskali Ssekasamba who passed away from the UK. In my speech, I emphasized the need to stay united and lead by good example in our struggle against dictatorship. I wish my friend Paskali a peaceful rest. https://t.co/8au4G3JKXM

"Everyone who betrays the people’s struggle will get their due reward. Using tax payers’ money; our money, Museveni will definitely bribe so many people, including men of honor, to do very shameless things. But our faith is not in the political class. Our faith is in the people of Uganda." ~ Bobi Wine, 17th September, 2020

This cartoon aptly captures the sickening double standards by Gen. Museveni and his criminal regime. While our people are hounded everyday, abducted, arrested and tortured for putting on the #PeoplePower attire, those who subscribe to the regime are left to put on real military uniforms without consequence! Many times, they are even given state security. Make no mistake - this is not a sign that they are strong. This is a SIGN THAT WE ARE STRONG. It is a sign of how much they fear WE THE PEOPLE. And yes, the day WE THE PEOPLE fully understand OUR POWER, it will be game over for the dictator and those who work for him. 📸 Spire #PeoplePowerOurPower

Very honored that our documentary film 'Bobi Wine: The People's President' has won yet another prestigious global award — this time in the Documentary category of the @PeabodyAwards' 84th Edition! We are grateful for every opportunity that helps us expose to the global community dictator Museveni’s previously hidden atrocities against the people of Uganda. We continue calling upon the international community to isolate and sanction all Museveni regime officials involved in perpetrating such gross human rights violations against Ugandans over the past four decades.

This short documentary film by @AfricanIIJ shows how dictator Museveni's agents Frank Mwesigwa and Enock Abaine commanded the shooting of journalists covering the 2021 presidential campaigns. The two 'police officers' nearly ended the life of journalist Ashraf Kasirye in two separate incidents. Even with all this evidence, the shameless officers claim that the journalists framed them “because they wanted to get asylum”. Instead of being arrested for these crimes, after the campaigns, Frank Mwesigwa was promoted to Senior Commissioner of Police and Enock Abaine was promoted to Commissioner of Police. It is this impunity that makes sanctions inevitable! We want the @IntlCrimCourt to indict such criminals because the Museveni regime's systems always protect them. #FreeAllPoliticalPrisonersinUganda #BringBackOurPeople

Delighted earlier to interact with Comrade Nsamba Lubega, the recently elected Guild President of Makerere University, alongside his team and the leadership of our Institutions Team. I congratulated them upon this victory but charged them not to lose the ball, or lose sight of the grand mission for the liberation of our people. Historically, university students have played a defining role in revolutions for liberation, and Uganda is no exception if there is a clear message and proper organization. I also tasked these leaders to always speak for and on behalf of the students, more so those who come from poor families. #PeoplePowerOurPower

Earlier today, I presided over the launch of the @NUP_Ug Party Structure Formation Roadmap and the commencement of our countrywide membership registration drive. This was at the conclusion of a two-day retreat we organised to re-train our Constituency Registrars, District Focal Persons and Sub-regional Focal Persons. In my communication, I urged the Registrars to perform their role with courage, diligence, and fairness; and to avoid infighting by always putting the interests of the People ahead of their personal interests. I reminded them that just like NUP is the political wing of the People Power movement, they are the Organizing Wing of NUP. This means they have the unenviable task of harnessing the massive support for change countrywide into a potent force that will ultimately take dictator Museveni out of power and set the stage for building a new Uganda where freedom and opportunity abound. Grateful to @FNF_Africa for making this event possible. #FreeAllPoliticalPrisoners

At our headquarters today, we welcomed into @NUP_Ug hundreds of new members coming from the four regions of Uganda. In my message to them, I reminded the new members that they have joined not just another political party but, rather, a movement on a mission to freedom. This is a REVOLUTION. I also used the opportunity to emphasize that the problems prevailing in Uganda today including those of political prisoners and the unfair taxation system are all a result of the bad governance perpetuated by dictator Museveni’s long stay in power. That is why our priority first and foremost must be on ridding our nation of the dictatorship in order to establish a free, prosperous and democratic country. #FreeAllPoliticalPrisoners

Today, we marked the 4th anniversary since comrade Ritah Nabukenya was martyred by police with a memorial service held in Kateera-Kiboga where she was buried. That fateful 24th of February 2020, Ritah was pursued and knocked dead by a police patrol vehicle Reg. No. UP 4841 as she travelled to attend a consultative meeting we had organised ahead of our 2021 presidential candidature. She left behind two young children whom we continue to support with other well-wishers. We still demand accountability for Ritah's death, and that the officers responsible for it be brought to justice. #FreeAllPoliticalPrisoners

Very delighted today, to host and spend some quality time with several comrades who have devoted their lives to the struggle for a free Uganda. Although most of them do not aspire for or hold any elective positions, they spend each day striving for a better country by engaging in different activities. While appreciating them for their commitment, I encouraged them to remain hopeful, resting assured that the eventual victory of the people of Uganda is certain. #FreeAllPoliticalPrisonersinUganda

Yesterday, we had a constructive meeting with members of the Executive Committee of the National Unity Platform's Chapter in Netherlands during which we discussed matters of importance to the struggle for freedom back home. Later on, we met and broke fast with the wider community of Ugandan muslims who stay in Netherlands.

Sending heartfelt congratulations to comrade Bassirou @DiomayeFaye upon your election as President of Senegal. I also congratulate the people of Senegal for a job very well done; having stood firm in your democratic beliefs and successfully resisted all attempts to take your country off the path of good governance.

On our way from Dokolo today, we found our people in their usual multitudes enthusiastically waiting to wave at us and express their support and solidarity in the different towns where we passed. It is always a great pleasure seeing the HOPE on so many faces of so many ordinary people. God willing, they will see that hope come to life in their lifetime. #PeoplePowerOurPower

Unfortunately we couldn't proceed with our Radio program in Dokolo this morning because the management of this station said they were scared of UCC switching them off if they allowed us to speak to the people of Lango about the general issues of the struggle against Museveni! The cowards have gone ahead to intimidate the people whose Public Address Systems we have been using and taken them away last minute. Either way, the message of change will be preached.
