I am not free. My home is still under siege, and the criminal regime is trying to hunt me down. And yet, three out of my four Deputy Presidents are also in detention! My Deputy President for Northern Uganda, Dr. Lina Zedriga Waru is still missing, having been abducted from her home on 15th January. My Deputy President for Western Uganda, Hon. Jolly Jacklyn Tukamushaba is still missing, having been abducted from Rukiga District on 14th January. My Deputy President for Central Region, Hon. Muwanga Kivumbi was today arrested and he's being currently held at Kira Division Police. As the persecution intensifies, may be remain rooted in hope and faith, that our struggle - the Ugandan struggle - will end in victory.. #FreeUgandaNow
I know how everyone feels about elections right now, but to not vote for leaders today would be to surrender all remaining positions to the dictator. Please go out there and vote! The Lord Mayor, District Chairpersons and L.C.5. Councillors are voted for today! #FreeUgandaNow https://t.co/uX7PnYR1id
Very sad to hear that Dr. Kizza Besigye's health has continued to deteriorate while in detention, having been denied access to proper medical care. We stand fully in solidarity with him and pray for his recovery. Museveni and his criminal regime must never get away with all the suffering they have caused to our nation. #FreeUgandaNow

Last night as Museveni’s son was making these threats to kill me and gloating over killing 22 of our supporters (in reality, he has killed over 100 since last week), the military who are stationed inside our compound yet again banged my house doors as they sang profanities, ordering the occupants to come out of the house if they're men. The people at my home say the criminals seemed to be drunk. We demand that the military vacate our home immediately. My wife and people are not safe. They're starving after these criminals blocked food from reaching them. They cut the padlocks of our gates and replaced them with chains. FREE UGANDA NOW.

You ordered the raid on my house to harm me! I beat you at your own game and escaped. To cover up the shame, you claimed no one was looking for me. Here you are now, seized by fear and panic and confirming your wicked plot against me. Anyway, I will resurface when I decide. Then you and your father can do whatever you want to me. But make no mistake - YOU WILL NEVER ESCAPE THE INEVITABLE CONSEQUENCES OF YOUR ATROCITIES AGAINST THE PEOPLE OF UGANDA. THIS IS OUR COUNTRY!

"Without more teeth and follow-through by international actors, Africans are doomed to be treated as third-class citizens by the ruling elites and their supporters. As the military clamps down on ordinary Ugandans desperate for a political voice, and a choice for change, you have been warned of the bloody consequences. Silence translates into complicity in the vote rigging and brutalisation of opposition on the continent, as it did with the Tanzania elections. Such silence only entrenches and fuels dictatorships and the decline in democracy." - H.E. Ian Khama, former President of Botswana. Thank you very much, President Khama, for not choosing silence at this profound moment in history. https://t.co/Ixe51rL9HH

Even at the polling station where Museveni voted from, the number of people who 'apparently voted' from there exceeds the number of registered voters! Here is an Electoral Commission official stating that Museveni obtained 589 votes here and that 5 votes were invalid. When in fact, the total number of registered voters at that polling station is 577. This points to one thing - massive ballot stuffing. Not even half of the 577 voters could have turned up to vote, but the criminals added an excess of 17 votes. This is what happened in every district of Uganda. The apex of impunity! WE MUST RECLAIM OUR COUNTRY! #FreeUgandaNow
This video, recorded stealthily, shows how our Party, @NUP_Ug's Deputy President for Western Region, Mama Jolly Jacklyn Tukamushaba, was abducted and taken away by the military. They confiscated all materials she had on the eve of the election, including appointment letters for our polling agents and the funds she had to facilitate them. To date, her whereabouts remain unknown! The Deputy President for Northern Uganda, Dr. Lina Zedriga was also abducted by the military, and her whereabouts remain unknown. #FreeUgandaNow
Video showing Electoral Commission officials ticking all ballot papers in favor of Museveni at a polling station in western Uganda. This is what Museveni and his criminal system call an election! We campaigned. We voted. We tried to protect our vote but the criminals arrested or abducted many of our agents and officials. The only recourse is for the PEOPLE OF UGANDA to reclaim their voice. That is why we called this a PROTEST VOTE. Please keep those videos coming in - and all other evidence of the theft that took place on the 15th. #FreeUgandaNow
Video message recorded from a safe place, to the people of Uganda and the world about the goings on in our country! #FreeUgandaNow https://t.co/s5t6LPMkMG
STATEMENT Last night was very difficult at our home in Magere. The military and police raided us. They switched off power and cut off some of our CCTV cameras. There were helicopters hovering over. I want to confirm that I managed to escape from them. Currently, I am not at home, although my wife and other family members remain under house arrest. I know that these criminals are looking for me everywhere, and I am trying my best to keep safe. I understand that there has been great concern and speculation regarding my whereabouts. Please understand this is the context of a nationwide internet shutdown. Given the commotion that happened at our house at night, and given that no one is allowed to access the house, our neighbours concluded that they had succeeded in abducting us and spread the news. I reiterate our COMPLETE REJECTION of the fake results Byabakama is reading. In addition to the ballot stuffing, the military take-over of the election, the detention of our leaders and polling officials, and other electoral offences, their results have zero backing! We condemn the murder of numerous citizens who have thus far attempted to peacefully demonstrate against the broad daylight thuggery. The people of Uganda have the right to protest in defence of their sovereign right to determine a government of their choice - not the kind of criminality we're witnessing. Aside from the blatant theft of the presidential election, these criminals have employed various fraudulent techniques to usurp the will of the people in numerous constituencies across the country. NUP candidates are being targeted - even when they have 100% evidence that they won. This is absolute madness. The PEOPLE OF UGANDA WILL ULTIMATELY WIN. Note: Some of these pictures were taken last night and others today morning. END
And, last evening, they attacked our Deputy President for Buganda, Hon. Muwanga Kivumbi and killed ten of our supporters who were at his home. This, after they abducted our Deputy President, Western Region and attacked our Deputy President, Northern Region. The criminal regime in its evening, has gone insane. This insanity will have to be met with RESISTANCE. #FreeUgandaNow
Meanwhile, yesterday, after casting my ballot, the military deployed all around my home in order to place me under house arrest. These criminals even jumped over the fence and entered our compound. My house is still besieged - no one allowed to come in or go out. This ain't strength. They do this out of fear for the people they have offended by committing so many atrocities against them. They do this because they are afraid of the people's reaction after stealing their vote.. #FreeUgandaNow
IGNORE the fake results being announced by Byabakama. He can't tell anybody where those results are coming from. Our agents at the tally centre are asking him for the source of these results, and the regime enabler can't say a thing. The PEOPLE OF UGANDA will have the final say on this nonsense. #FreeUgandaNow
