Yesterday and today, our lawyers, accompanied by friends and relatives of comrade Swabura Owomukisa have checked all major police stations around Kampala for comrade Swaburah in vain. For the third night, she remains missing. #BringBackOurPeople #FreeAllPoliticalPrisoners https://t.co/J8TqY4qY6f
Attended the first national youth Convention organised by @NUP_Ug and held this afternoon at our new headquarters in Makerere - Kavule. I used the ocassion to remind youth of their ultimate responsibility to relieve Ugandans from the misery of dictator Museveni’s dictatorship... https://t.co/NdicnAs4sM
As expected, Magala Umar and other comrades have this afternoon been charged before the Magistrates Court of Nabweru with alleged manufacturing of ammunition. They have been remanded to Luzira Prison until 6rh June. You may recall that on several occasions, dictator Museveni and his regime have labelled us 'terrorists' so as to justify the brutality and persecution they subject us to for opposing them. The trumped-up cases notwithstanding, we shall not relent in our quest for freedom! #FreeAllPoliticalPrisoners #BringBackOurPeople #WeAreRemovingaDictator

Not even a week after the MURDER of minister Engola, blogger Isma Olaxes is MURDERED in cold blood. This follows so many other unresolved MURDERS! What is clear to all of us, regardless of your political affiliation, is that in a sinking boat, there are no winners. Whenever we complain about armed REGIME operatives dressed in civilian clothes causing mayhem, abducting or even killing our people, the same REGIME apologists say we're politicizing things. I will say it again, EVERYONE IS A POTENTIAL VICTIM OF THE LAWLESSNESS OF THE MUSEVENI REGIME! RIP Jajja Ichuli. Let the dead teach the living!
Olivia Lutaaya. 30-year-old mother of two and a supporter of the National Unity Platform. She has spent a combined total of nearly 3 years in detention without trial, alongside other comrades. She was first arrested with the rest of my campaign team in December 2020 and detained for several months without trial until she was given bail by the military court. A few months after her release, around May 2021, she was abducted and held incommunicado for weeks, undergoing torture. Later, she was produced before the Military Court Martial without the knowledge of her lawyers and family, charged with illegal possession of military equipment, and then remanded to prison. Upon learning of this development, our legal team filed a bail application for her and others but the military court took over 9 months just to fix it for hearing. The application was finally heard but summarily dismissed! Several other bail applications have been denied by the military court over ridiculous grounds. Last month, the kangaroo court added on Olivia's file a further charge of Treachery, prompting a protest from Olivia and her co-accused persons. As day follows night, there will be accountability for these crimes against humanity! #FreeAllPoliticalPrisoners #BringBackOurPeople #WeAreRemovingaDictator
On a sad note, I regret to announce the sudden death of one of our diaspora leaders. Comrade Mulindwa Timothy who was the Chairman of the NUP/People Power Witbank chapter in South Africa was involved in a fatal road accident as he was driving from Witbank to Pretoria. He was travelling with his wife and children in the car. The children are in a stable condition while his wife is still in a critical condition. Our teams on ground are doing g everything possible to handle the situation. Our healing prayers go to his wife while our condolences go to the family and friends. Sad!
