Earlier at Namirembe Cathedral, I was very pleased to join other dignitaries to honor the Retired Justice of the Supreme Court, G. W. Kanyeihamba at a Thanksgiving Service organised for him. Justice Kanyeihamba remains a shining light in many respects. He has served his country with firmness and conviction. It is therefore befitting that he is being honored while he lives.
Thank you, Rt Hon @MathiasMpuuga. The nation is grateful, the party is grateful, and I am grateful. #AccountabilityAndService
Sad story of an American humanitarian Reno Danica who was knocked dead outside her gate by a high-ranking UPDF military officer in June 2022. Apparently she had come to Uganda on an anti-corruption mission. To-date, the family's pursuit for justice is yet to bear fruit. No one is ever truly safe in a country run by a criminal, military regime.
Torture is the standard operating procedure for the Museveni regime. When I was tortured to near death in Arua, Museveni himself came out to appreciate his boys for a job well done. The only reason they arrested and paraded the soldiers in Kitgum was because they were exposed. If there was no video recording of the torture, that GISO and his gang of criminals would probably be promoted like Elwelu who commanded the massacre of our people in Kasese, his son who commanded the November massacre and Abaine who shot Ashraf Kasirye, among others. The solution lies in getting rid of the brutal, tired regime.
Earlier today, the RDC and DISO of Kayunga District paraded a man they claimed is Martin Lukwago, one of our supporters who was abducted by the military from Bugolobi Market in 2020 and remains missing. As always, the criminal regime did this to try and discredit the pain and sorrow of the families whose loved ones are missing. Our human rights team got in touch with Martin Lukwago's wife who confirmed that she has never seen the man they are claiming is her husband. How can a regime be so insensitive, so clueless and so evil? This proves one point - they are feeling the heat. I implore all of you not to give up the fight - victory is in sight! #BringBackOurPeople
The dehumanizing conditions prisoners are subjected to in Uganda. You then think about the political prisoners who have to go through this indignity for committing no crime whatsoever! https://t.co/R2bv0mbhCE
With my wife @BarbieItungoK and several leaders of @NUP_Ug, I joined Ugandans and eminent personalities living in the United Kingdom to attend the screening of our documentary 'Bobi Wine: The People's President' at Bertha DocHouse theatre in London. Thereafter, @BarbieItungoK and I had a question-and-answer session with the audience to shed more light on the documentary and life under dictator Museveni back at home.
