Despite the ongoing unjustified manhunt by the criminal regime, I am grateful to the common people who I meet daily for trying to shield me and keep me safe. Yesterday as I travelled to Gomba District to pay a visit to our home and check on my relatives, I passed by many roadblocks mounted on different roads. The inconvenience on road users is terrible. I advise the regime to stop looking for me - I will resurface at an appropriate time. The best they would do is to peacefully relinquish power and let the people of Uganda decide their own destiny. Short of that, they will face the inevitable fate of all despots before them. #FreeUgandaNow
Museveni's criminal son is still looking for me and issuing threats to harm me. Thankfully, our people are still keeping me safe. My wife is still recovering from the trauma of an overnight raid and assault. Thousands of our people have been violently arrested and detained. My home is still surrounded by the military. Several of our supporters have been murdered in cold blood. All because we challenged Dictator Museveni in an election in which he faced a resounding rejection across the country. He had to shut down the internet and declare himself 'winner' on gunpoint. We remain committed to freeing our nation from these savage criminals.
