We have spent today morning at the Kitalya Mini-Max Prison where we checked on and encouraged several political prisoners. These included the NUP political prisoners, our comrades from FDC who were recently picked up from Kenya and charged with terrorism, as well as comrade Sam Okanya aka Sammy. All of them are of strong spirits despite the very oppressive circumstances. They fully understand that they did not commit any offence for them to be detained by the cowardly regime.
