Earlier today as we prayed for and remembered our comrades who were murdered in cold blood between 18th and 19th November, 2020. We also took time to pray for all the dead, detained and disappeared citizens. If dictator Museveni thought that he would commit these crimes and we simply move on, he must understand that we shall not keep silent or give up the demand for accountability. #BringBackOurPeople #M7NovMassacreUg
On 18th and 19th November, 2020 so many citizens were murdered on Gen. Museveni's orders. These included ordinary citizens - women, men and children who were going about their business. Three years later, there has been no accountability whatsoever! Instead, the criminal regime has continued to violate human rights with impunity. And so today we shall gather with families of our deceased, detained and disappeared people to hold special prayers as we remember them. One day, God willing, the regime will account for every crime committed against our people. #M7NovMassacreUg #BringBackOurPeople
Yesterday and today mark 3 years since the 18th & 19th November 2020 massacre. That day, operatives on clear orders from Mr. Museveni shot dead over 100 [by some accounts up to 300] citizens in cold blood. Today as we remember and commemorate our sisters and brothers who were murdered for no reason, let's also reflect on these families whose loved ones were abducted and are still missing. I appreciate our Parliamentary team for not only protesting, but also taking time to visit and profile these families. Eventually, there will be accountability for these crimes against humanity! 1.
