BOBI WINE
Jun 16, 2024

Yesterday evening in Johannesburg, South Africa, we had a film screening of our Documentary, #BobiWineThePeoplesPresident. The event was attended by the Ugandan Diaspora, the Civil Society, Academics, political leaders and activists as well as the media fraternity. We had the opportunity first hand, to show to this audience the gross human rights violations meted out on the people of Uganda by the Museveni regime. I was delighted to share the stage with five other victims who told their moving stories. These included Monica Nabukeera (wife to Johnbosco Kibalama), Masereka Samuel (who was gravely tortured at CMI), Motiv Kasagga (who was also abducted and tortured), Ngoya Johnbosco (whose brother was murdered in Karamoja) and Sebuganda Richard (the Makerere student whose hand was shattered by a teargas canister thrown into his room). We shall spare no effort in exposing these violations to the world out there, so that people get to know the Museveni regime for what it truly is. Very grateful to the @FNF_Africa for making this event possible.
