Just had a fruitful conversation with Mzee William Mukaira, a 97 year old senior citizen decorated as an educationalist, activist, farmer, a post-independence leader and a business mogul. He has hosted me and my delegation at his residence in Bushenyi town. Despite being a grounded wealthy man, Mzee William Mukaira has remained loyal to the truth and justice. He has stood with the oppressed and has just been recently released from prison after facing trumped up charges of treason that were slapped on him by this criminal regime.
