Was happy this afternoon to preside over the unveiling of flagbearers of the @NUP_Ug slated to contest for the various local government positions within Kampala District in the forthcoming #ProtestVote2026. These included our official candidate for Kampala City Lord Mayor Hon. Balimwezo Ronald Nsubuga, as well as flagbearers for LCIII & LCV Councillor, and Division Mayor positions, among others. Owing to the regime frustration many of these comrades have faced while trying to book public venues in their respective electoral areas to launch their bids for office, we decided to host and unveil them at the NUP headquarters in Makerere-Kavule. I have urged them to abide by the Party's values at all times and to never lose sight of our cardinal objective: freeing Uganda!
