Left with nothing to offer, regime thugs have been going ahead of us, trying to bribe, demobilise and intimidate our people not to attend our events. RDCs, DISOs and 'presidential' advisors who should be civil servants have turned themselves into tools of these evil manoeuvres. In Rwampara the RDC told the boda-boda riders that whoever attended our rally would no longer be allowed to operate within the district. In Rubaare, Ntungamo, they gathered many youths from the ghettos promising them money, and held them at some gardens until we finished our rally. Of course several of them defied and still showed up. Now, here is this woman, a presidential advisor, asking the young people of Kabale not to receive an 'artiste'. She doesn't seem to understand that the people must have a right to receive and listen to all candidates and then make a decision on who to support. Of course, the joke is on her. Keep recording these criminals and exposing them. They will individually and collectively account for this abuse. What should concern the citizens more is that the money used in all these despicable actions is public money which should be fixing roads and ensuring that we have medicine in hospitals. #FreeUgandaNow
Our message of change has reached the people of Rukiga district both physically and electronically. The criminal regime through its enablers and agents have been trying to rely on outdated intimidation tactics aimed at demobilizing our people but we have successfully managed to interface with them. For so long, the people of Kigezi sub region have been desperate for a new government that will respect their rights and freedom. As we speak today, the great icon of Kigezi sub region Rtd. Col. Dr. Kizza Besigye is among the dozens of political prisoners under incarceration.
